The EM7167 hdMEDIA RT1055 is extremely easy to use. Just connect the HDMI cable to your TV or Digital Receiver, and enjoy the crystal clear picture. The EM7167 hdMEDIA RT1055 supports an optional internal hard drive (SATA) up to 2TB that you can easily connect to your pc to be filled with media. And if you need more storage, simply connect a USB stick or SD/SDHC card and display your media files on your television. The EM7167 hdMEDIA RT1055 also supports a broad range of mass-storage devices like digital cameras, camcorders, and portable music players, allowing you to directly connect by USB and play back the media stored on them.
Powerful Realtek chipset supports almost all video codecs
Thanks to the next-generation RT1055 processor, the EM7167 hdMEDIA RT can decode a broad range of video files like WMV9, MKV, VC-1, AVCHD MPEG-4, H.264 & X.264. All in Full HD 1080P resolutions. Classic formats like DivX, XviD, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 are also supported. The popular ISO file format for DVD-ROM has full menu, chapters and subtitle support. BD-ROM ISO files can be played back with chapters and PGS subtitle streams as well.

The hdMEDIA RT1055 supports a broad range of audio files including MP3, OGG, and the popular lossless FLAC format. And it’s capable of multitasking as well, allowing you to play your music collection while watching your photos in a slide show at the same time!
Copy your movies to the hdMEDIA RT1055
If you have a large library of files stored on your computer, you can simply connect the hdMEDIA RT1055 to a USB 2.0 port and quickly fill an (optional) internal hard disk with files. And if a friend comes by with media you’d like to share, you can use the built-in file manager to quickly copy files between the hdMEDIA RT1055 and the friend’s USB disk.
DTS and Dolby for crystal clear sound
A true cinema experience in your home: The EM7167 hdMEDIA RT is equipped with an internal Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS decoder. There is no need for any external digital receiver to decode the audio and we support full downmix of AC3 and DTS 5.1 tracks.
